Selling a 2004 Kubota B7610 compact tractor. 24HP Diesel, 4WD, Front End Loader and Rear Blade. Only 180 Hours, like new. What is the market value of this tractor?

Remy58,

I recently priced out a new B7610 with a loader. The dealer quoted me 13,200 for the tractor, and about 3000 additional for the loader.......all brand new.

The greatest amount of depreciation occurs within the first 200 hours of ownership. After that, the rate of depreciation slows considerably. (You're losing the dealer's profit margin, which was included in the new price.)

I just looked at the listings shown at tractorhouse.com

There are three Kubota B7610HST tractors listed there, with prices ranging from 10,800 to 15,000.

There is no doubt that you will get more for your tractor if you sell it outright, than if you attempt to unload it through a dealer.

You should be able to get 14,000 for your tractor without much trouble. Start there, even if you are willing to accept less money for it in the end.

Joel ....
